Donovans - great Kiwi bakers use great Kiwi chocolate


New Zealand chocolate company Donovans Chocolates is lining the shelves of a new aisle in your local supermarket – the baking aisle.

Who better to supply premium chocolate for baking than a trusted Kiwi chocolate company. Brand new Premium Dutch Cocoa Powder, along with three new Real Chocolate Drops are now available for New Zealand bakers.

The Donovans baking range is a new addition for the Kiwi chocolatiers, who have traditionally produced high quality indulgent treats, like their famous Cluster range. Donovans Chocolates Brand Manager, and top Chocolate Taster, Larissa Arnold recognised the company needed to provide what was missing from the baking aisle.

“Home baking never goes out of fashion, and neither does good quality chocolate. Our new baking range is a natural fit for us, as we continue to create delicious New Zealand made chocolate.”

The Chocolate Drops come in three varieties – Dark, Milk and White, and are all real chocolate. The Dutch Cocoa Powder is made using the traditional Dutch process dating back to 1828, which smooths and mellows the cocoa flavour to create a rich and indulgent taste.

“Our Dutch Cocoa Powder has a beautiful well-rounded flavour, and our Chocolate Drops are real chocolate – perfect for baking! We are providing Kiwi bakers with New Zealand made, great quality ingredients that are delicious and affordable,” Larissa concludes.

The new premium Dutch Cocoa Powder, White Chocolate Drops, Milk Chocolate Drops and Dark Chocolate Drops from Donovans can be found in the baking aisle at supermarkets nationwide with an RRP of $4.49.
